Vikki Fear

I am a down to earth and approachable counsellor for children, young people and adults with over 27 years experience working with young people. I currently work for a Bristol based charity as well as running a private practice. My experience of working with children, young people and adults includes anxiety, school refusal, County Lines, substance abuse, self harm, family issues, depression, neurodivergence and trauma responses.

I am experienced in working with abuse and CPTSD. My work is trauma informed, using physical responses as well as talk therapy to help you explore past experiences. People experience trauma, anxiety and depression in different ways so each client will find their own path towards recovery. Using an integrated approach, I draw on different techniques to help you move forward. These include sand tray, writing, art, puppets, sensory toys, EFT, Focusing and Somatic Healing.

I have worked for many years with ADHD and Autism. Overlapping symptoms and a difficulty in gaining assessments for ADHD and Autism can make things seem impossible at times. I work with everyone on an individual basis, taking into account differing neurological needs.

I am non judgemental, working to explore and understand the difficult emotions and feelings behind difficult behaviours. This helps us to find the right approach to break down damaging cycles and build the confidence to move forward in positive directions.

Sessions are for one hour and are £55 per session
